Intermediate Fullstack Developer
Our client is in the cleaning service industry, offering their services to major hospitals and similar institutions. They are looking into AI to solve some of their tedious problems.
Engagement : Independent Contract (3 months)
Remuneration : Market-related, negotiable per experience
Location : Hybrid - Pretoria East (Wilgers)
Tech Stack
Node.js/ Python
React
PostgreSQL
DigitalOcean
Cursor (AI)
Key Responsibilities
– Design and build scalable backend APIs using Node.js and/or Python Cursor (AI)
– Develop and maintain PostgreSQL databases (schema design, query optimisation)
– Build responsive React frontends and integrate with backend services
– Deploy and manage applications on DigitalOcean
– Use Cursor (AI IDE) to accelerate development and maintain code quality
– Produce technical documentation and participate in code reviews
Minimum Requirements
– 3–4 years of hands-on fullstack development experience
– Strong backend track record in Node.js or Python
– Portfolio, GitHub profile, or code samples required with application
– Valid tax registration / SARS compliance; ability to invoice for services
